From the moment you turn into the driveway you can feel the stress just melting away.
As you cross the stone bridge that traverses the small creek and meanders up the green pastures on the hillside, you feel like saying “Yes! This is the place where I want to be.”
From the first sight of the beautiful thoroughbred horses grazing in the pasture to the right and the magnificent front porch lined with rocking chairs to the left, you know you made the right decision.
When you knock at the door you are greeted warmly by Richard and Vickie with the best in southern hospitality. They will graciously show you around their beautiful home. The library, the music room, the dining room, the great room, the pub, the game room, all beautifully decorated, yet comfy and cozy and inviting you to sit and relax.
Outside you will find beautifully landscaped grounds with luscious flower beds. In addition to the massive front porch, there are two screen rooms, one for reading or lounging and one for informal dining. There is also a back deck, covered with an awning and furnished with a comfortable set of porch furniture. There is an east patio for afternoon tea or a glass of wine. The crystal-clear swimming pool and hot tub can be enjoyed during the warmer months. The beautiful stone fire pit is perfect to gather around for evening bonfires and s’mores, and a sparkling clean 42-jet Jacuzzi to soothe your aches and pains.
After a tour of the house and grounds, a delightful tray of carefully prepared snacks of cheese, meats, nuts, and assorted sweets accompanied by a glass of Cabernet or Sauvignon Blanc will be served as you take in the beautiful scenery on the massive front porch.
Yes, you will know you made the right decision. Richard and Vickie have resided in Loudoun County for nearly thirty years and have visited almost every restaurant, winery, brewery and distillery in the county. They help you plan your day or, if you prefer, help you plan to do nothing at all but breath the fresh country air...
He makes me lie down in green pastures; He leads me beside peaceful streams; He restores my soul;
