Restoration Bed and Breakfast is just four miles north/northwest of the center of historic downtown Leesburg. The downtown, much of which dates back to the 1600s and 1700s offers a vast array of fine dining, as well as casual dining, bars, breweries and small shops. It is a wonderful place to spend an afternoon or an evening and can be reached by Uber, a bicycle or a long walk.
Loudoun County has become the “Wine Country” of Virginia and features more than 40 wineries. Some are larger, “California-style” wineries while others are smaller and quaint. Richard and Vickie can help you decide which are best for you.
Loudoun has also become a center for breweries and distilleries. There are six located in downtown Leesburg alone and many more out in the countryside. Again, Richard and Vickie can help you find the place that is right for you.
Western Loudoun features many historic sites, battlefields from the Civil War and the Revolution as well as numerous hiking and biking trails. The county features the W&OD biking and hiking trail in the center of the county as well as the world-renown Appalachian Trail on our western border.
Loudoun features numerous golf courses, a number of which are public. Richard and Vickie are members of two private country clubs and they can obtain tee times for you at these clubs upon request.
